Most drafting services trace what they're given. I've spent 24 years installing, commissioning, and maintaining M&E systems, so drawings get sense-checked as they're drawn. Duct runs that won't fit the void, fan coils with no maintenance access, pipework falling the wrong way. Problems like that cost pennies on a drawing and thousands on site.
Think of it as an overflow drawing office for M&E contractors. There's no retainer and no minimum commitment. Send the markups and you get back clean DWGs.

How the work runs
Send whatever you have: architect's backgrounds, markups, sketches, a specification, photos of a redlined print. I'll come back within 24 hours with a fixed quote and a delivery date. First issue goes to you for comment, revisions get turned around, and final deliverables are issued as native DWG plus PDF.
Everything is drawn to your CAD standards, using your title blocks, layer naming, and plot styles. If you don't have a documented standard, I'll apply a clean, consistent one and you keep it.
Frequently asked questions
What do you need from me to start?
Backgrounds (the architect's DWG if there is one), your markups or sketches, the specification if the drawings need to reflect it, and your title block. If the source material only exists on paper, scans or clear photos are fine. A large part of as-built work starts exactly that way.
Do you work in Revit?
No. I'm an AutoCAD specialist and honest about it. Deliverables are 2D DWG and PDF. If your project is BIM-mandated and needs a federated model, I'm not the right fit for the modelling itself, though I can still produce the 2D deliverables that sit around it, such as schematics, builder's work drawings, and record drawings.
How is drafting priced?
Fixed price per drawing or per package where the scope is clear, which it usually is. Day rate for open-ended or revision-heavy work. Either way you get the number and a delivery date before any work starts, quoted within 24 hours.
What formats do you deliver?
Native AutoCAD DWG plus issued PDFs as standard, with drawing issue sheets and revision control included. If you need a specific DWG version for your client's systems, say so and it's saved down accordingly.
Is my project information kept confidential?
Yes. Nothing you send is shared or reused, and nothing appears in a portfolio or case study without your written say-so. Happy to sign an NDA before you send anything.
